Essential Works is a book design, editing, and concept-creation company. In 2004 the company created the New York Times best-seller Hippie. In Fall 2005, the company produced Book of Secrets, Book of Lies, and the Inspiration series Madonna and Dylan for Andrews McMeel Publishing.
Malcolm Green (not his real name) is a journalist, author, and former employee of a Western government's secret service. At least, that's what he claims. He has worked with a number of top researchers, writers, and spies to collect the information that you'll find in this book. Malcolm lives in the London area, perhaps.
Editor Thomas Eaton studied history at Oxford and Cambridge Universities in the United Kingdom. After working in magazine publishing, he has spent the last few years writing quizzes for television and newspapers, including The Weakest Link, allowing him to indulge in his love of the trivial and the arcane. He is a leading member of the Society of Secrets.
