Summary

Mommy wants to rest, so she asks Caillou to look after his little sister. When Rosie starts to scribble on the wall, Caillou tries to take away her crayon. Rosie starts crying and Mommy hears all the noise! Its not always easy being the big brother. Included is a Good Habits Calendar that will encourage your child to develop good habits. With Caillou, children learn to brush their teeth, wash their hands before meals, and put away their toys. Children love to be helpful and please their parents, but to look after a little brother or sister is not easy. The older child's attempts may be thwarted when the younger child doesn't listen. In this case, Mommy helps Caillou overcome this trial by verbalizing what Caillou is feeling, and commending his efforts of being a good big brother. Adapted from the popular CINAR television series, this book sees Caillou discovering the world around him as he moves towards a greater understanding of his environment. CINAR scriptwriters developed the storylines in consultation with child psychiatrist Nicole Nadeau.
