Author Biography

Gary L. Schwartz, M.D., es un nefrólogo certificado por la junta con experiencia en trastornos hipertensivos. Es profesor de Medicina en la Facultad de Medicina y Ciencias de Mayo Clinic. Asistió a la escuela de medicina en la Universidad de Wisconsin en Madison. Completó su residencia en medicina interna y una beca en Nefrología e Hipertensión en Mayo Clinic Rochester. Su práctica clínica se centra en la hipertensión secundaria, incluida la enfermedad de las arterias renales y el aldosteronismo primario, la hipertensión resistente al tratamiento y los trastornos autonómicos.

Gary L. Schwartz, M.D., is a board-certified nephrologist with expertise in hypertensive disorders. He is a Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. He attended medical school at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He completed residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in Nephrology and Hypertension at Mayo Clinic Rochester. His clinical practice focuses on secondary hypertension including renal artery disease and primary aldosteronism, treatment resistant hypertension, and autonomic disorders.
