Scot Hillier, independent consultant and Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for SharePoint, is one of the most respected names in the worldwide SharePoint community. He specializes in creating business solutions with SharePoint, Office, and related .NET technologies. His ten books on Microsoft technologies include Microsoft SharePoint: Building Office 2007 Solutions in C# 2005. He has presented on SharePoint at conferences ranging from Microsoft TechEd to SharePoint Connections. A former U.S. Navy submarine officer, Hillier is a graduate of Virginia Military Institute.
